Fantasia International Film Festival 2026, the 30th edition. This is the annual film festival founded in 1996 and held primarily in Montreal, Canada. It specialises in genre films, including fantasy, horror, science fiction, and cult cinema, and draws over 100,000 attendees each year including Marc Canale and myself, old hand at this now, two years on the trot at A Year in Horror HQ. Once again we've been invited to take part in covering the big one and we can not wait to get stuck in. Today we run through the first batch of films we caught at this years event.
